2009 Louies: Call for Entries

The 2009 Louie Awards entries are due by Wed of this week. If you plan on entering, better get on the ball. To find out how to enter, use this page from the Louisville Ad Fed.
We will be revamping the site to try and encourage some more activity this year, and hopefully getting some Louie entries posted for some good discussion.

I know what you may be asking... "Why is this on here?" Well, we just had our awards show here in Louisville so I thought it was somewhat relevant. Plus, San Diego was my stomping ground before I made the transition to Louisville (man, I miss the beach!). I spotted this on Motionographer and thought it was a really cool promo piece for their show.

Good stuff. It's a nice combo of 3D, illustration, and motion.

Even if you have a snapshot of something creative, send it and show it! This piece was seen hanging up in the window of Cahoots on Bardstown Rd.
Terrastock is a festival coming to town in June. It takes place at the Melwood Arts Center, Louisville Kentucky on June 19th - 22nd, 2008. Check out a larger shot of this piece here.

The snow storm allowed us some time to launch before the big event. Now that we are up and running, you should grab your iPhones and whatever you have and start snapping shots to submit to Create Louisville. This is the best of the best, so lets talk about it and share it.
We hope the event provides us with a lot of submissions. We will post as much as we can.
