Another installment to The Five0Two Campaign. Jeral Tidwell is a huge contributor to the artistic scene here in Louisville, and continues to provide great work to help promote the city.
You can check out a larger version of the piece here.

Brand Question | Hometown Poster
Posted by T_Admin @ 8:20 AM May 12, 2008
I was passing a window the other day that displayed this poster. The artwork seemed interesting, but the logo and tagline really caught my eye. It reads, "Louisville. Do something original."
Recently, we've seen a large campaign (paid for with alot of our tax money) go towards branding Louisville. The tagline has been "Possibility City." We've even looked at the Possibility City Website here on CreateLouisville.com.
Question(s): Is this good branding? What kind of branding allows for multiple taglines? Are we a "possibility city" or are we to "do something original"? Who is handling the oversight of this campaign? On another note, who produced the artwork? Is it original or clip? Agency work?

Spring Meet | Now Open Billboard
Posted by T_Admin @ 1:06 PM April 21, 2008
Last year, about this time this billboard series went up to announce the opening of the spring racing at Churchill Downs. It was cleverly spread out over time as the event got closer, the billboard changed. Check out the series here.

Possibility City Website
Posted by T_Admin @ 10:43 AM March 12, 2008
The folks over at Red7e launched this Louisville branding website in conjunction with the Louisville Extreme Makeover Home Edition episode that aired a few weeks ago.
Its an interesting look at our city, but is the site effective? In addition, this brings to light the whole Possibility City campaign. Thoughts? Comments? Anything else worth posting on this subject?

Maker's Mark Billboard
Posted by Admin @ 8:58 AM March 12, 2008
Here is a shot we found on The Ville Voice. Another great local blog we highly recommend.
We have it cropped here, so be sure to check out the whole thing. View full size here.
Here is what The Ville Voice had to say:
"You've got to hand it to those clever folks at Doe Anderson, we assume, for this clever Maker's Mark billboard..." Read the postIt might be a few years old, but it still is making an impact apparently.

Five0Two.com is a new initiative to help promote the arts in Louisville. Bill Green illustrated the Hunter piece you see above.
I expect to see a lot more illustration from this crew. We'll keep you posted on here.
