Havana Beverages Website | Via Studio

Thanks to Jason Clark over at Via Studio for submitting the Havana Beverages website.

Havana Beverages is a local beverage company with national distribution. I've seen it popping up a lot as of recent. Good stuff.

Nice stuff. I like the way the site fits together and works, although the design feels a bit ragged in places, as if it needs to be tightened up graphically. (Links, for example, look different depending on where I am). There seem to be a few too many sweet gimmicks at the cost of consistency.

Definitely a Web programmer who knows his / her advertising, rather than the other way around. A nice sense of brand throughout, reinforced with solid art and decent writing.

Well done, Via Studio. I like it!

DoomGuppy,

We tried to go through today & fix those link styling issues you mentioned so a big thanks for pointing that out!
I agree that there are some things that should be tightened up, hopefully we'll get some time in the budget to take care of that. If you could tell me specifically what you feel could use some more work, I'd love to hear!

Sometimes after you stare at a design for so long, you stop seeing the obvious so the extra eyes are always appreciated.

I think this is a solid design! I love the use of real world materials, and worn textures. I agree with DoomGuppy that the layout and font styles could be tightened up a bit. It's awesome that you've taken the criticism so well, and are even making changes! Kudos to you Deanna. Let us know when you upload the changes. Keep up the good work.

Agreed, Galdranis -- that says a lot about Via.

Thanks Doom and Galdranis for the input! Now if we can only get our own website up to speed, Deanna won't throw things at me anymore.
