We will be posting a lot of the winners of the recent Louie Awards here over the course of the next month. It's refreshing to see so much great creative this year. We believe that great creative should spark great discussion. Through discussion, comes learning; and learning is the goal of this site. So submit, discuss, and enjoy!
Our first post is a site that was created by LeapFrog Interactive for Vanity Fair. There is quite a mix of technology used in this site to achieve the results you see. Go ahead, find your sexy style.

Congrats to the leapfrog team on this. It's great to see more companies in louisville producing quality interactive work. Hopefully this site winning a big award will make everyone realize the importance of putting a team in place to produce quality interactive work. Now we just need a company to win an FWA!
I agree with Sifu. Its a fine site, and for Leapfrog (click through their current portfolio) its a step in the right direction.
But I can't get past the fact that for all the bells and whistles, it seems to lack the call-to-action or message that will actually sell things. Which, I'm assuming, the customer probably wants to do.
Kudos to execution, soso on strategy....I say.
I work with the team that created the "Find Your Sexy Style" promotion.
We're excited to be recognized by Addy and appreciate the conversation over our work. Our work fits within a global brand framework -- where we are coordinating with several agencies to achieve a strategic goal. Any specific tactic, creative, promotion, or material may seem more or less relevant until it's seen within the context of the overarching brand strategy.
smillion,
Congrats on the site. Its good.
Your response kinda sounds like an answer you'd give to clients that may not know any better. (i.e...BS).
I can only react to how the site grabs me when I visit it. As of yet, I haven't seen any national spots or "Victoria Secret-like" advertising to support this. So, as a standalone piece, it lacks in strategy. But the site is built well, and is worthy of praise.

Visually this site is fantastic. At first glance I was very impressed. I took the quiz and was a 'sultry sensualist' (I can't say that I'm surprised).
However, I'm still not sure what they are selling. A website is a marketing tool, and I'm not sure how they overlooked the actual marketing aspect. Once you pull out the bells and whistles it's all a bit amiss. It won a prestigious award, so it must be good at selling...whatever it is.
